I’m a massage therapist who has incorporated personal training into my practice in order to better serve my clients. I provide inclusive, body positive, safe, nonjudgmental services for all members of the LGBTQ+ community, and our allies. I am particularly committed to serving those who don’t typically feel safe in large public gyms or spas.

Hi, I’m Cal.

I’m a transmasculine non-binary person living in Oakland, California, on unceded Ohlone land, and I’ve been into sports and fitness since I was a kid. I started massaging in 2006 and have since worked as a massage therapist in many different fitness facilities. This experience brought me to realize that I also wanted to help people move better through exercise, not just massage.

I believe fitness and wellness should not only be accessible to the wealthy, white, already active, and able-bodied individuals. It should be something that all people who need and want can fit into their budget. At the same time, I live in a very expensive area of the country and am also a marginalized individual in our society. So for people who identify as Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, POC, and/or Disabled, I offer a sliding scale. I ask that my cis-gendered, white, and/or straight-identified clients pay the highest end of the pricing so that I can offer my services to those who need the lower end of the scale. I do this in order to operate my business in the most anti-capitalist and accessible way possible.
